Dan Bloomfield

Dan is a specialist consultant in regeneration, sustainability and engagement.  His work has involved developing partnerships, preparing funding applications across the funding spectrum, business planning, setting up management and audit systems and community consultation.  In contributing to assignments, Dan applies his knowledge of economics, social science, policy analysis and sustainable development, together with his background in environmental issues, to considerable effect.

In 2000 Dan gained a social science PhD from University College London that looked at policy networks around brownfield land in London.  Dan was formerly Strategic Policy Officer to the Mayor of London, advising him on all aspects of sustainable development.  Dan has also worked within the SW Objective Two Team at GOSW, managing the sustainability theme for the programme and working with small companies as well as public and voluntary sector clients, from project initiation to evaluation and monitoring.
